CESE School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) Technologies

This is your central hub for technologies on architecture and built environment. We provide the following equipment: 

For students & staff, researchers, and industry partners 

• Immersive Technologies – Virtual Reality Headsets (HTC Vive Pro, Mirage Solo, Pico 4), Mixed Reality Headsets (Meta Quest 3, MS HoloLens 2), Augmented Reality (tablets, phones), and web XR (trainings and workshop for web mixed reality) 
• Cameras – we have a studio 360 Insta and Sony A6000 that users can use to create content for their models, videos, and more.   
• Phones and Tablets – these are to be used for exploring augmented reality in phones and tablets provided.  
• High-performance Workstations – These are high-performance PCs to carry your heavy content. 
• Audio-Visual Technologies – do you need a better microphone for hosting events or interactive discussions? We have a RODEO II that can help ease your worries from lack of volume and wires. 
  
  

Within SABE Technologies, we have PixelSpace Lab, which is an emerging technology laboratory specialising in 3D scanning, extended reality (augmented reality / virtual reality / extended reality), and generative artificial intelligence (AI) to empower your learning, courses, research, and projects.
