CESE Plant Growth Facility

Overview of Services

The CESE Plant Growth Facility boasts controlled environment chambers, equipped with advanced lighting, temperature, and humidity controls to simulate various climatic conditions. These controlled environments allow researchers to precisely manipulate and monitor growth conditions, ensuring optimal plant development and reliable experimental results. Depending on the chamber and the needs of the research, controllable variables include temperature, lighting including Far Red, humidity including dehumidification, increased CO2 and automated watering. The facility also holds PC2 certification allowing for research on genitically modified plants.
