The Earth Science Field Equipment Core exists to support excellence in teaching, research, and professional practice by providing access to high-quality Earth Science field equipment. We enable safe, efficient, and innovative fieldwork through the hire of specialized tools, including UAV systems for Earth Science, engineering, and environmental applications; field surveying equipment; and handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers for elemental qualification and quantification. Our mission is to lower barriers to advanced field capabilities, foster hands-on learning, and empower researchers and consultants to collect robust, reliable data in diverse field environments.
